A Sea kayak or touring kayak is a kayak developed for the sport of paddling on open waters of lakes, bays, and the ocean.

Sea kayaks are seaworthy small boats, which trade off the extreme manoeuvrability of whitewater kayaks for cargo capacity, ease of straight-line paddling, and comfort for long journeys.

Welcome to Kayakmór

We are a new sea kayak touring company based in Galway, the cultural and tourist capital of the west of Ireland. We are starting up for the 2007 season and invite you to join us for a safe, relaxed and fun experience kayaking along Galway's spectacular coastline and idyllic inland waterways.

We cater for all levels of kayaking from beginners to experts and tailor our trips to suit. Kayakmór offers half or full day trips at a range of stunning locations; the inlets of Galway Bay, bays and beaches of Connemara, or on the large inland lakes of Lough Corrib and Lough Mask, dotted with hundreds of Islands.

We are IRL and UK agents for Elio kayaks and IRL agents for Sipre Kayaks, and offer a wide range of competitively-priced, top-quality composite craft including flat water & marathon race kayaks, polo kayaks, sea kayaks, racing sea kayaks, surf skis, and adventure racing kayaks.
